Gyproc ThermaLine plasterboard laminates are the ideal choice for both new-build and renovation works when a medium level of insulation is required at a cost effective price.
48mm Gyproc Thermaline PLUS are standard ivory faced 9.5mm wallboard bonded with a 35mm orange-coloured extruded polystyrene insulation that is both CFC and HCFC free meaning zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential). As the extruded polystyrene is a closed-cell construction, a vapour barrier is also then in place.
These insulated plasterboards are available in tapered edge only with the wallboards having a thermal conductivity of 0.19W/mK and the insulation has a thermal conductivity of 0.033W/mK.
Mechanical fixing can be achieved to walls or ceilings ensuring the correct fixings are used. Boards can also be bonded to walls with a suitable ‘dot & dab’ adhesive such as Gyproc Dri-wall Adhesive.
