Blue Circle Mastercrete Cement - An enhanced cement, supplied in 25kg weather resistant plastic packaging.
Used in concretes, mortars, renders and screeds. The perfect choice for most brick and blockwork applications.
Mastercrete is an enhanced Portland- limestone cement conforming fully to BS EN 197-1 CEM II/A-L (or LL) 32,5R.
It has the following benefits compared with ordinary Portland cement:
• Enhanced resistance to freeze/thaw attack.
• Lower water demand.
• A more cohesive mix.
• Less tendency for water to segregate and bleed.
• Cement in plastic bags is suitable for storage outside.
Mastercrete is a quality assured cement with independent third party certification and carries a CE Mark.
When using in rendering and mortar, there is no need to add air entraining mortar plasticiser or the dosage used can at least be reduced significantly from what the manufacturer suggests dependant on the type of sand used.
