When connection to a mains sewer isn't practical, septic tanks are worth considering. With less excavation required, shallow dig septic tanks not only solve the practical problems of storing sewage for tens of thousands of homes, but they are available in a variety of sizes to suit your application.

The septic tanks achieve a high degree of settlement, producing a quality effluent for discharge to a land drainage system.

Shallow installation septic tanks are designed for installation where conventional spherical septic tanks could not practically be installed. Typically, in areas where granite rock strata is close to the surface this tank may be used in preference to the more conventional but deeper tank.

This 7150 litre shallow dig septic tank is suitable for up to 34 people.

• 0.5 metre invert depth
• Diameter = 1.920 metres

Comes with pedestrian duty lids and frames as standard.
