3000mm GL8 Metal Perimeter Track

Quick, simple, cost-effective to use, Wall Liner is suitable for internal use in all commerical and domestic applications. The metal tracks form the horizontal section of the wall lining system. The GL1 studs are slotted in to the tracks and then the studs are fixed to the walls using GL2 or GL9 brackets.

Dry lining is a method of cladding internal walls with plasterboard. It can be used on a variety of surfaces, including masonry backgrounds, uneven walls, walls with surface-fixed services, and to conceal services. Dry lining creates a cavity between the wall and the back of the plasterboard lining, which can range in width from 25mm to 130mm.

By replacing the wet traditional alternative, the Wall Lining System offers practical, cost-effective lining to meet the needs of fast-track building methods. 

Compatiable with all partition and ceiling systems, univeral wall liner can be used with a range of gypsum plasterboards and thermal laminates to line brick, block and concrete walls that are dry and protected within the building envelope. Insulation can also be added in between the uprights for further improved thermal performance.

3mtr GL8 metal track, when used as part of the universal metal wall lining system is the perfect solution to use to overcome any issues with damp penetration from the external walls. In such instances, it is worth consulting a qualified engineer to ensure correct methods are followed and suitable damp proofing products are used.
