Acoustic plasterboards are resistant to sound due to the extra weight and heavier make-up of the board.
Designed for use in walls and ceilings where greater levels of sound insulation are required. Sound resistant plasterboards are often used as part of a full partitioning system along with different types of insulation such as Rockwool mineral wool when further noise reduction is needed.

Blue face on one side to identify sheets correctly. Sheets have a thermal conductivity 0.24W/mK.
